Elected on the following platform

Lower Taxes

  • Repeal the 2007 20% sales tax increase.  This huge tax increase costs the average family around $3,174 a year according to a 2007 Ernst & Young quantitative study.  The sales tax increase will cost Maryland 17,000 job losses by 2017.

  • Balance the budget without raising taxes on working families and seniors.

  • Most Marylanders work for small businesses.  I will cut taxes on small business and support small business growth.

Stop Illegal Immigration

  • Maryland has become a safe haven for illegal immigrants.

  • Stop them from voting and obtaining a drivers license by enforcing Federal Immigration laws that already exist

Reduce  Crime  &  Gang  Violence

  • Support state and local police in their efforts to reduce crime.

  • Go after the gang leaders and gang members who commit the crimes.

  • These criminals need to make little rocks out of big rocks for a long time.

School  Choice

  • Double public charter schools and school vouchers to help parents pay to send their children to a private school.

  • I support a wholly elected School Board that will give parents more control of their children's education.

Regulate  BG&E  Utilities

  • There is a direct correlation between energy prices and personal prosperity for citizens.  Monopolies must be regulated according to the Maryland Constitution.

  • Utility bills have doubled, natural gas has risen 125%, gasoline prices have risen over 150%, and heating oil has risen nearly 200%.

Pro  Life

  • I believe that our children (born & unborn) are our most important natural resource.

  • I will work hard to reduce the number of abortions in Maryland by promoting adoption and encouraging abstinence.

Second  Amendment

  • I support the Second Amendment which gives the people the right to bear arms.
